Restockly is a Shopify app that helps merchants track stock, forecast reorder points and raise purchase orders. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and how long it keeps it. It applies to the Restockly app only.

What we access

When you install Restockly on your Shopify store, the app reads a limited set of store data through Shopify's official API:

• Product and variant details: titles, SKUs, current stock levels and stock locations.
• Order line quantities. We read how many units of each product sell over time so the app can measure your sales pace and work out when to reorder.

Restockly does not read or store your customers' personal information. It does not collect names, email addresses, shipping addresses, phone numbers or payment details. It reads the quantity on an order line, not who placed the order.

What you enter

You can add supplier records inside the app, including supplier name, contact email, phone number, lead time, currency, payment terms and notes. This is business data you choose to store. Purchase orders you create are also saved so you can send and receive against them.

How we use the data

Data is used only to run the features you install the app for: reorder alerts, weeks of cover, suggested order quantities, purchase orders, PDFs, supplier emails and the optional weekly stock summary. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build profiles of your customers.

Emails

If you choose to send a purchase order to a supplier or enable the weekly summary, Restockly sends those emails to the addresses you provide. The supplier email address you enter is used only to deliver purchase orders you create.

Where data is stored

Data is stored on secured servers used to run the app. Access is limited to the operation of the service. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

How long we keep it

Your data is deleted within 30 days of you uninstalling Restockly from your store. Shopify also sends the app standard data erasure requests, which the app honours. You can ask us to remove your data sooner by emailing the address below.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the data the app holds about your store, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time. Send the request to the contact email below and we will action it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
